How closed is our Beta?

Written on February 5th, 2009, by adam

This is a short post, for your friends, who have been waiting to get into our beta tester programs. And for you, if you have been waiting in the queue, and are reading our blog.

First of all, we are really happy to see such a huge amount of people interested in Prezi! It’s great to read through your comments about where you will be using Prezi. Our aim is to deliver the best product possible to you, so sometimes this means a little wait. Why?

Mostly because we learn about bugs, have good ideas to make Prezi better, and we want to give the best possible experience. So we set up cycles, where we deliver some important features and bug fixes, and only let people in once this is done. Ideally this process will speed up in the near future.

And, now something completely different: here is a scan of Hong Kong’s top PC Magazine’s article on Prezi. We love the detailed diagrams showing how our system works. (thanks Billy for the scan)

    Your software is absolutely great!
I believe it has great potential to change the way we do presentations. I have also written about in on my weblog: http://www.creaffective.de/blog/archives/17-02-2009.html for the German speaking readers.

I just learnt of Prezi! It seems great. I’ll certainly keep abreast of your progress and hope to use it sometime soon.

Can’t wait for the full version to come out so I can start using it!

  5. One of my colleges demoed Prezi and I was so impressed, I immediately went to our showroom (a studio with a 5×2,4 m Cyviz Powerwall with a resolution of 3200×1400 pixels).

Wonderful, it looks so good with a high resolution presentation zooming in and out on the large screen. I can’t wait to get a beta user…

  6. If I had a beta user I could take some pictures and even create a video. I have to redesign the frames though the auto-zoom have some problems with the very wide screen format…

I have now done a short film demonstrating Prezi on a Powerwall. Very low quality video, and a crude presentation, but see the result here:
