I agree with Adam, Amy and others I've asked; Prezi is good, perhaps it's even £59 good, but $59 per year!? Keep it. I'll continue with Keynote which is also great fun and a one off payment.

I would sign up for prezi if I could pay a one time fee. I know I can buy software for less than what I would pay you over a couple of years. Even Adobe products, which have always been too expensive for me, would be less than 59 per year over time. I will stick with PowerPoint.

yes. first 30 days free. After this you'll get a notification email, and your recurring payment schedule starts. You will be charged 59USD. If you cancel your subscription within the first 30 days, you will be charged nothing.

I just signed up for the EDUPro. Does this mean I am not charged for the first 30 days? After the 30 days I am charged the $59? Billing seems a little confusing.

We are sorry to learn that our new recurring payment model does not fit you. We have made this decision after analyzing our market, and other working models. If you are a rare user of Prezi our Public license may fit you the best with 30 days of free desktop editor.

Hi there.

Firstly however i loved this application even though haven't used it much. I am about to let it go...

I am fairly sure that it was a bad decision to change the payment method to yearly subscription. I am willing to pay upfront for a year when i use something every day and day by day but it is a huge misunderstanding to expect that I should pay for something that i can barely use as I am assuming to make presentation every single day would be an extreme use of this system.
Its not my business, i just wanted to let you know.

Just think about it. I can pay hundred something dollars, and i would but to force me to pay upfront this much well, it is a kind of offensive and pointless behavior...

P.s
exuse me for my french but i think that is a kind of BS to say"our users don’t need to worry about paying for the tool every 4 weeks. "

i can imagine how big worry could be there to renew the subscription when its needed. (lol. worry about renewing the subs in every 4 weeks?????? obviously there is no such a thing as it takes 3 clicks )
have a nice one.

Hi,
when we have changed our licensing system, we had two things in our minds.

1. To provide an extended trial period without limitations for everyone with the possibility of cancelling the account at any time, so if they cancel before the end of the free period, they will not be charged.

2. To provide a recurring system, where our users don't need to worry about paying for the tool every 4 weeks.

This kind of recurring payment system is quite popular on the web with SaaS models. I understand that for some users it's better to have a monthly payment method, but we did not want to make our licensing system more complicated by adding too much possibilities. I hope you can find the best solution as well. Anyway, I am happy to support you with your account of choice at any time!

For # Zoli

You have realised that?

Well, did you run a customer survey for opting the payment method/billing cycle they prefer the most?

Most users prefer trials/monthly billings, and won't pay upfront the yearly fee.

Why did you change your plans?

I, for example, wanted to get as a pro members, but won't, since there's no monthly billing anymore.

That's bad business in my experience.
