Thanks for your requests for a Prezi iPad app. You spurred us on. We’re excited to announce: Prezi for the iPad! With the iPad app, you can easily show prezis, bring your ideas into everyday discussions and wow your clients.
Here is how to get started:
- Sign up for an account at prezi.com.
- Create a prezi with your computer.
- When you’re ready to show it, just login to your Prezi account through the iPad app and select the prezi you have created with your computer.
We’ll regularly update the Prezi for the iPad app. When using the current version please consider the following:
- Prezi for the iPad app allows you to show prezis that were previously created on your computer. The app does not have editor features.
- Video files, YouTube video embeds, PDF and SWF files does not work in the current version of Prezi for the iPad.
- When you open a prezi for the first time on your iPad, it can take a while to load depending on the size of your prezi. Even big prezis load super quick for the second run.
Download Prezi for the iPad app from the iTunes app store!

That’s great news! If we want to create a Prezi which will contain video, what video formats do you recommend so that they will play on this version?
Video files you have uploaded to your prezi will play on the iPad too. YouTube embed is not included to this release though.
Yes, works great! though HTML5 & Youtube integration please

An excellent start for a good new year! Thank you for your responsiveness to our needs!

What a surprise to see this app. Kudos to Prezi for taking a flash-based app and getting it to work in the iPad. Can’t wait for an IPhone version of the app and PDF support. Most of my prezis have lots of PDFs in them, so once that works, I could very well leave my laptop behind when giving presentations!

Very cool!! Great job guys! This is a great tool even though you can only display and not create. Will anxiously wait for every update until authoring is made possible but opens a great new opportunity.
Great! Thanks!
Looking forward to see editing and VGA support

Thansk Prezi team
Nice App. Some quick thoughts and feedbacks.
At least for the pro accounts. So trying to avoid user to log every time, and Off access should will made Prezi for ipad very useful.
We should be able to use it offline. Not everyone have a 3G ipad and connection everywhere !
I’ve open a 130Mb prezi. All the videos were Flv so it was not working, I’ll try with a new prezi with different types of movies. But I’m facing some pictures issues, some of them are grey when I’m the camera is not moving. Maybe to heavy ones? But I use to made light jpg for the prezis.
I would like to thank you for this app, a very nice step and this should be very helpful to get new users and improve the community… thanks !
Happy new year by the way !

AWESOME!!! What’s better than this? Cool!! Thanks for sharing the great news!
Much thanks. I requested this feature back when iPhone just appears. But years later you guys finally make this come true on the iPad
Looking forward to YouTube embed feature.
Excellent, now repeat above, replace iPad with Android
… shouldn’t bee too hard:

It is crashing but, anyway, great news. When working with a VGA adapter, this app will send my old netbook to retirement.

You have an awesome product that clearly could be world beating if it were touch editable, but you are delivering it in a horse drawn cart. Dump the cart (Flash) and get it into touch-based html5 quickly, before someone else delivers a knock-off that is touch editable.
A start! At least we can see them. (parts of them anyway, on the ipad screen anyway).
My forward/reverse button doesn’t seem to function. Can manually zoom around, bout it.
I look forward to the next release that will make it _really_ functional as a presentation tool. This is still a tease.
Must Have:
video, pdf play, and most important: and critical: VGA output for the Ipad so we can actually present on larger screens. Nice to have the slideshow play feature working too. Then you’ve got it. Don’t need to develop on the Ipad, only need to present prezi’s. (to groups of people)
Thanks for the feedback!

Login over 3g connection doesn’t seem to work. Do you need a wifi connection to login? Login with my account on prezi.com does work on a pc.
Tried it at home with a wifi connection and it works beautifully. And having thought on it for a bit, 3g functionality doesn’t make too much sense
Would be nice, though, if you let ppl know on the app store page (and your website, for that matter) that 3g is not (yet) supported…
I hope they add 3G support soon. If I am out of the “office” and I am presenting something where there is no wifi available, it would make sense to use 3G.
Thanks for the reply to your own post to answer the question about 3G
Prezi for the iPad…
Why use Prezi on the iPad? (Source) * Show your prezis on a portable, lightweight device * Put ideas at your fingertips by leveraging the iPad’s touchscreen experience * Keep the focus on your prezi by avoiding the distractions of a browser environment…
Once you load Prezi onto iPad to you need to stay connected to the Internet or can you download the presentation?
Exciting development! I was disappointed that my SWF imports don’t work. That format makes vector scaling SO nice on Prezi.
Nice app but failure to load first presentation….”something went wrong” during font load…..a litle disappointed. Hope they iron the kinks out then this will be an essential app for the iPad.
Great little tool – If this had had VGA output I’d have paid $9.99 for it! oh well I’ll be sticking with keynote for now…
I have the same question as Roderick – do you need a WiFi connection rather than a 3G internet connection? I only have 3G coverage, and I can’t login (“Could not connect to prezi.com”), nor can I view the Prezi video on the login screen (“No internet connection found”). I can login to Prezi on my PC, so the Prezi website is up and running.
I use Prezi, and this is welcome. But right now I just want to know what you wrote it in, and *how* it works on the iPad.
Should I ask for one app for the iPad to help with my work, it would be Prezi. But…
1) Prezi for iPad crashes all the time
2) Most text boxes appear out of place
3) Images randomly disappear or appear out of place
4) I have to re-download the presentation every time, it does not work offline
It’s not usable this way. Please fix all that and you’ll have a killer app. If you do, I’ll start paying to use your services.
Hi we have just released version 1.0.2 that addresses crash issues and 3G network connection problems. More updates on the way. Thanks for your patience!
Agree, when not at work…. I only have 3G and not wifi….. And that would be where I would want to show prezi to others like down at the restaurants or at conferences. Can.t wait to try it at work though. Thanks

When this VGA feature will be released? I recommend to use this procedure for developers in order to achieve it:
http://mattgemmell.com/2010/06/01/ipad-vga-output
Prezi is a nice program for presentation but would be unbeatable if can be displayed in a big TV/Monitor/Projector.
Hi Chris, we are aware of the request but cannot tell you timelines of developments. We’ll spread the word when we have news so you will be alerted for sure.
Great app, but pretty much worthless without support for VGA projection.
This program is indeed impressive. Nevertheless, I need a bit of help. Created a presentation on an iMac, saved it to iDisk (my MobileMe cloud) and when I go to iDisk from my iPad I see the file there but it says the file is unsupported. How should I do this differently? Thank you. John
Hi the iPad app can only open online prezis from your prezi.com account. The only way to use the iPad with prezi is to open up the app, log in, and than load one of the prezis from your library.
I was really missing this and view only is great. also looking forward to PDF suppor
