Prezi gets Political in South Korea

South Korean presidential candidate Moon Jae-in is becoming a prolific Prezi user.The past week saw two major firsts for Prezi. For anyone who knows anything about South Korea, it should come as no surprise that they should both take place in the so-called Land of Morning Calm. A country full of self-styled early adopters, Prezi has long enjoyed an almost cult popularity with university students as the way to present thesis pitches and group project conclusions.

The passion for education in Korea is so strong that (after witnessing it at first-hand) it led President Obama to hold up the number of hours Korean students spend in school as a benchmark for US schoolchildren to aspire to..

International JavaScript conference MLOC.JS happening in 2013

When the Prezi office opened in Budapest, the founders of the company wanted not only a great working environment but also a place that is open to curious people who want to collaborate and can host events like screenings, meetups or lectures. In 2013 we take another step further and organize an international JavaScript conference called MLOC.JS to explore a widely used tool’s future that’s called JavaScript and we invited the best professionals to lead this exploration.

The Assessment Week Experience

Most companies won't fly you from the other side of the world, put you up in an apartment for a week, and feed you divine food for three meals a day. But Prezi clearly isn't like most companies. So when I was asked to make the trip from Seoul to Budapest to have an assessment week at Prezi, my answer was a firm 'yes'.
