Coming Soon: Prezi Embed

embed1 Another way of embedding: street art by Mark JenkinsOne of the most interesting feature developments under way in our top secret Budapest laboratory is Prezi Embed. Many of you ask about it: we have a topic dedicated to embed issues on Getsatisfaction, a how-to guide in the manual, one of our users, Peter, even created an excellent guide on his blog, and shared it on Twitter.

Prezi's new embed feature is due within 2-3 months, it will be faster and customizable than the present solution. This improvement will enable instant presentations on blogs, or any other web pages. When ready, Prezi embed also lets you share your presentations easier than ever. Right now you can use iFrame to embed a Prezi on your site, which is quite effective but not very user friendly.

So now it's time to tell us what you think about this.

Would you find it useful to embed a presentation on your personal site? Would you even show your Prezi clicking it on your corporate blog at a business meeting? Think it would improve education in class? Or you may even use embed feature to create different media content on your blog? We'd like to shape this feature together with you, so let's post a comment, discuss this!

Yes, the embed feature would be very helpful. I would mostly use it for sharing my Prezi files on my own blog (or for blogging about other Prezi files that I found interesting).

This will be HUGE for us! Right now, I have Prezis embedded using iframes (see here: http://www.nextwaveperformance.com/tour and here: http://www.nextwaveperformance.com/how-it-works) but there is no way to autoplay the Prezis at a set speed. I'd love to be able to see the embedded Prezi automatically size to full screen and have each step timed to a set interval. If the step-by-step timing isn't in the works, I'd at least like to see an autoplay with specified timing per view.

Keep up the great work!

Glad you are working on the embed feature. Great way to share non-lineal thinking on a blog. As an educator, I'm convinced it will be a big hit for teachers and students.

Personally, I would use the embed function like crazy. I think it would - at least - make people jump to the "full-size" presentation rather than a posted screenshot of a presentation would.

Yes, defnitely usefull to release the power of prezi and spread its name around! :)

Embed is great. Awesome for real presentations and also for just a few ideas on a whitepaper to underline the content of an article.

Hopefully this won't have an effect on server peformance - but I'm sure you have that on mind

Some way for it to adapt to size of browser window - would love to create sites that are all prezi an use the full size of the browser

Go for the embed! This opens a lot more possibilities, helps you spread plus I could use it to show a bit more complex topics in blog posts or websites.

Hi, I want to embed my prezi presentations on my website. I just applied it into html, and it seemes to work only when I´m logged into account on prezi.com. I dont know how to make it work constantly, regardless of whether I am connected and on all browsers. thank you very much!

Hi, you should embed a public prezi if you want to have it online visible for everyone.

IS THIS AVAILABLE, YET???

March 15, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterDonna

Sure. It's available from your My page and from the prezi pages too.
